The Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation donates $500,000 to endowment!

We are so thrilled to report that The Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation has generously donated $500,000 to our Moving Women Forward endowment campaign!

This substantial gift will transform the lives of low-income women and their families by sustaining Bard Microcollege Holyoke.

Paul Besito, Executive Director of The Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm:

“The Care Center’s work is unparalleled and embodies the values at the heart of our mission to improve the quality of lives in Hampden County. We are so proud to support such a groundbreaking organization that is making a tangible difference in the lives of young mothers, transforming our educational infrastructure, and contributing to the overall well-being and progress of our community.”

Thanks to the Davis Foundation, we’ve now achieved 80% of our $4 million endowment fundraising goal.

As we enter the season of giving, we invite you to become a part of Moving Women Forward with a gift of any size.

The Care Center gave me hope and a desire for change. They actually cared about me and my child. I quickly earned my GED at 16 years old.
