The more college credits and experiences a Care Center student has when she matriculates into a higher education institution, the greater her chances of remaining in college and completing her degree.
There is a direct correlation between a woman’s potential income and the number of semesters of college she completes—the higher her degree, the greater her potential to earn money. Our part-time college courses are a great way for busy women to begin their college journey.
Courses include:
Clemente Course in the Humanities: This two-semester introductory college course covers art history, philosophy, American history, literature and writing.
Reading for Writers: This college writing course is perfect for women interested in honing their writing skills and earning college credit before committing to a full-time college program.
Humanities 108: This course uses historical, literary and philosophical texts to examine one “big” question each year, such as “what is true love?” or “how can my life mean something?”
