Je’Nye Williams, 17, from Springfield, is already a college student at Bard Microcollege Holyoke. She completed The Care Center’s high school-level program while parenting her one-year-old daughter—an extraordinary achievement on its own. But Je’Nye didn’t stop there. A gifted poet, writer, and artist, her work has been featured in Nautilus II and in local exhibitions. She earned her high school equivalency diploma a full year ahead of her class and became the youngest student in Care Center history to complete the six-credit, college-level Bard Clemente Course in the Humanities. Today, she is excelling as a full-time college student.
