The Care Center has partnered with Bard College to launch the nation’s first college for low-income women whose educations have been interrupted or postponed by pregnancy and parenting. On the first of July, under a giant tent outside of the Wisteriahurst Museum, muggy weather and impending rain weren't going to stop our determined graduates! Gloria Steinem Speaks at Fundraising Luncheon

Clemente Course receives National Humanities Medal at White House
The Clemente Course in the Humanities, a college-level course offered at The Care Center in partnership with Bard College won the 2014 National Humanities Medal.
