Breaking Ground on Roqué House!

It's really happening! Our wonderful partner Way Finders is breaking ground on the site that will soon be home to Roqué House. Fundraising Party Celebrates First Graduates of Bard Microcollege Holyoke!

500 guests attended The Care Center's annual fundraising party on May 14th in celebration of the first graduates of Bard Microcollege Holyoke! Actress Amy Poehler, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and Mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz joined us via video. All told, the evening raised $110,000 to support young mothers. New College Writing Course

Since launching Bard Microcollege Holyoke in 2016, we have learned so much about how to support young mothers as they pursue a college degree. When students faced unforeseen childcare issues, our college counselor helped them secure care and ensure their semester was not interrupted.
