On May 8, 2017, 500 guests attended The Care Center’s annual fundraising party at the Log Cabin with special guest Aja Monet.
The event celebrated the inaugural year of Bard Microcollege Holyoke, the nation’s first college for young mothers. The evening also celebrated each individual’s power to affect change through words and actions.
Aja Monet spoke passionately about the importance of supporting women and read her powerful poetry to a captivated audience. All of the event speakers, including three exceptional students, spoke beautifully.
We are so grateful to the staff, board members, friends and volunteers who helped make this special evening possible.
